How to work with Egg Shell:

We recommend sanding to 800 grit and then buff.

If you encounter a void you can easily fill it in with super glue.

If you have a handle that warps.  Heat in the oven at 150 degrees until the handle is playable.

Then clamp to a flat surface until the handle is completely cooled off.
