This is a pair of Purple Pine Cone by Exotic Knife Handles. The slabs measure 6″ long by 2 1/4″ wide and the thickness is 5/8”. You will receive the handles pictured. This handle material is manufactured in house here at Exotic Knife Handles. We can produce any color resin from transparent to opaque, with or without pearl. The options are endless. Our handles cut and drill easy.

How to work with Pine Cone:

We recommend sanding to 800 grit and using a wood sealer before your final grit.

Pine cones have natural voids as you sand into them.

If you encounter a void you can easily fill it in with super glue & saw dust.

If you have a handle that warps. Heat in the oven at 150 degrees until the handle is playable.

Then clamp to a flat surface until the handle is completely cooled off.
